Galaxy Note 3 Gets New Color Accents, Price Dropped in Pakistan Posted: 07 Dec 2013 01:33 AM PST Samsung has recently announced new color editions of the Galaxy Note 3. Samsung’s Flagship device which launched in September, now comes with Rose Gold White and Rose Gold Black accents and Merlot Red option, in addition to the Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink options already available to consumers. The new editions of Galaxy Note 3 integrate touches of premium Rose Gold finishes to its Jet Black and Classic White devices for a distinct and refined design. Both editions complement the iconic Rose Gold Galaxy Gear to provide users with a truly integrated and stylish Galaxy experience. The price of Galaxy Note 3 in Pakistan has also been reduced to Rs. 70,000. At the time of launch it was priced at Rs. 82,000 — The Galaxy Gear smartwatch is sold separately   These new colors will arrive the Pakistani market with in next few months. Warid increases the Maintenance Fee on Recharge & Reloads Posted: 06 Dec 2013 11:55 PM PST Warid has announced to increase the maintenance fee by 1% on all recharges and reloads from December 11, where as the SMS sent by Warid to the customers states the date as December 12, 2013. At the moment maintenance fee is charged 4% of the total amount recharged, and after the increase customers will get Rs. 75 Balance on a recharge of Rs. 100. The taxes on recharge includes 15% WHT (Withholding Tax), 5% Service and 5% Maintenance Charges which makes a total of 25%, but that’s not all. 19.5% FED (Federal Excise Duty) is charged on the remaining balance. That means you will get 55.5 Rupees balance after all the taxes. Other than the government taxes, all the cellular companies are charging customers in the name of service and maintenance. Its a shame that PTA and other government organizations with a job to protect customers never took notice of such unlawful practices.
