Huawei Introduces Y320, An Affordable Dual-SIM Smartphone

After introducing its first Dual-SIM smartphone Ascend G610 in Pakistan last month, Huawei has now targeted the low end segment and introduced Y320 — yet another Dual-SIM smartphone. It seems like the Chinese manufacturer is determined to kick QMobile out of the game and grab its market share.

Y320 is more or less similar to Y300, one of Huawei’s top selling smartphone in Pakistan and it offers Dual-SIM functionality at a more affordable price, but notably it lacks in the camera department.

Y320 has a 4-inch TFT capacitive touch screen which offers 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The smartphone weighs only 123 grams and the sleek and slim design makes it easy to handle and operate even with one hand.  Packed with a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, Mali-400GPU and 512MB of RAM, It has an internal memory of 4GB which can be expanded via memory card.

This phone has a 2-megapixel camera with no flash light, and yes this phone doesn’t feature a secondary camera for video calling. That’s a only drawback as most of the smartphones today feature at least a 5-megapixel primary shooter and secondary VGA camera — but you have to reduce to the costs somewhere in order to make it affordable. The phone comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with Huawei’s home baked EmotionUI.

Huawei Ascend Y320 is available for a price of Rs. 10,500 in two colors; black & white with one year warranty of Airlink Communication all over Pakistan.

If you have never used a smartphone before and currently using the old feature phones, Y320 might be your best option to upgrade as its packed with a reasonable hardware and the build quality is better than QMobile or other Re-branded phones. Do share your opinion about this phone in the comments section below.
