QMobile brings two new budget Android tablets Q100 & Q800 Posted: 27 Mar 2014 04:43 AM PDT QMobile has recently added two new budget Android devices to its tablet range namely Q100 and Q800. The key specifications of these new devices are as follows.
Q100 is priced at Rs. 11600 and Q800 has a price tag of Rs. 16800, both tablets come with one year warranty. These low cost tablets may have a better build quality then the chinese brands available in the market, but keep in mind that QMobile tablets are priced higher. The performance is mediocre and you can’t compete these tablets with renowned brands like Apple, Samsung & Amazon but keeping the low price in mind you have to make some compromise. If you have already used a QMobile tablet or willing to buy one do share your opinion in the comments section below. Ufone Suspiciously Resisting to Change its Media Agency Posted: 27 Mar 2014 04:03 AM PDT
Etisalat directed both PTCL and Ufone to change their media agencies to get Starcom on-board, in line with its strategy of getting the operations centralized. PTCL, while complying with the parent group, immediately got Starcom on-board. However Ufone is delaying the process for unknown reasons, creating a suspicion that there are individuals in Ufone management who have vested interests in the whole play. It merits mentioning here that Ufone is working with Interflow for over 10 years or since its start of operations in the country. Sources confirm that there are individuals in Ufone's marketing department who have had association with Interflow and probably they are putting all the efforts to not to change it. This act, which apparently is going to create a rift between Ufone and Etisalat, is especially critical based on the fact that Ufone's management should remain unbiased towards the decision for changing of media agency. And if they are not then there is something shady going behind the scenes. The post Ufone Suspiciously Resisting to Change its Media Agency appeared first on The Giga Web. |
Twitter brings Photo tagging & multiple image uploads for Mobile Posted: 27 Mar 2014 01:28 AM PDT Twitter has announced two new mobile features today to make the photos more “social”. One of them is photo tagging which allows you to tag people in a photo & the other is multiple photo uploads in a single tweet. In order to tag people in your uploaded photos, a new “Who’s in this photo?” button appears once you attach a picture. You can tag up to 10 people in a photo and still have all 140 characters at your disposal as your friends twitter handles will not take space.
It merits mentioning here that other top social network allows users to tag people “inside a photo” and now Twitter has done the same, which makes it easy for people to follow tagged users. Every time Twitter adds a new features it makes it more like Facebook or Google Plus. The second new feature is that you can now share up to 4 photos in a single tweet, which will show as a collage. The ability to upload multiple photos is rolling out for iOS users and will be available soon for Android. Additionally, both photo-tagging and Tweets with multiple photos will display in Embedded Tweets. To get these new features download or update your iOS or Android Twitter application to the latest version.
